Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shi Fu Tu (ranked 213 p4p, 27 weight class) and Caius Cosades (ranked 312 p4p, 38 weight class). Fu Tu comes to the cage accompanied by Klendathu drop. Cosades has chosen Reign of the Septims as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fu Tu scores with a punch to the head.

Cosades throws a looping overhand right but Fu Tu ducks down to avoid it.
Cosades takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Cosades takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Cosades working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

That was a close round but I would say that Shi Fu Tu will probably get the nod.

Cosades uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cosades closes the distance and clinches up with Fu Tu, looking for a takedown. Cosades pushes Fu Tu against the cage but Fu Tu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cosades throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fu Tu on the side of the head.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Shi Fu Tu.
Well Fu Tu has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
