Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aris BenJudah!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron Wagaman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

BenJudah feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wagaman looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
BenJudah trying to control but Wagaman is working from the bottom.
BenJudah keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wagaman's head.

BenJudah slips nicely into half guard.

BenJudah is looking for a kimura here.
BenJudah stalling away here and it's allowed Wagaman to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wagaman keeping moving, preventing BenJudah from controlling successfully.
BenJudah content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
BenJudah wants to control from the top but Wagaman keeps moving.

Wagaman is working an open guard so BenJudah takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
BenJudah lands a nice shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wagaman stuffs the takedown attempt from BenJudah. BenJudah gets slowly back to his feet.
Wagaman keeps the fight on the outside.
BenJudah cracks Wagaman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Horrible takedown by BenJudah or perhaps it was just good defense by Wagaman which made him look bad.

BenJudah scores a takedown into full mount!
A nice elbow there by BenJudah.
BenJudah lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

BenJudah working for a guillotine from mount but Wagaman is in no mood to give up.

BenJudah looking to control but Wagaman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

BenJudah is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
BenJudah misses with a head kick.
Wagaman circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - BenJudah looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wagaman blocks a head kick by BenJudah.
Wagaman with a poor takedown
and BenJudah counters with a three punch combo that has Wagaman backing up. Wagaman nods at BenJudah to acknowledge the strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

BenJudah drives through with a takedown into guard.
BenJudah trying to control the position from guard on top but Wagaman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
BenJudah advances to half guard.
BenJudah is tying to control. Wagaman wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Wagaman punching from the bottom.
Wagaman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. BenJudah is working away from the top position though.
BenJudah wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wagaman keeps working.
Wagaman wants to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aris BenJudah dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Wagaman avoids a kick to the body.
BenJudah fails with an attempt to clinch.
BenJudah gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Wagaman counters with a single leg into guard. BenJudah didn't expect that.
BenJudah is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
BenJudah wants to stand up but Wagaman is controlling him.
BenJudah throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Wagaman is sitting in close to BenJudah's body. BenJudah has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wagaman is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wagaman is tapping! That was a very nice submission by BenJudah.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Aris BenJudah!
