PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Calhoun (ranked 8936 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Stewart (ranked 8934 p4p, 637 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Noah Stewart was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calhoun throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stewart stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Calhoun shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Calhoun showed some decent athleticism there.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Calhoun has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Stewart's body.
I really don't envy Stewart right now.
Calhoun is looking to finish with some ground and pound!

You can see the frustration on Stewart's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Calhoun just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Stewart drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Stewart seems to have locked his on tight now - Calhoun screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Stewart, as he picks up the win!
