The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dossey uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McDouble.
Dossey slips a jab and a cross from McDouble.
Dossey tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McDouble swivels and escapes.
McDouble lands with a hook. Dossey tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
McDouble misses with a few strikes there.
Dossey shoots in looking for a takedown but McDouble manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dossey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dossey is defended easily by McDouble.
It looked like McDouble was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Biggy McDouble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beckett Dossey.

Dossey has McDouble pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. McDouble manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
McDouble misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Dossey is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McDouble pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Dossey has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McDouble after a bit of a struggle.
Dossey is trying to push McDouble away but McDouble has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Dossey tries to pull guard but McDouble holds him up against the cage and eventually Dossey drops back down to his feet.

McDouble looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

McDouble using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dossey has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McDouble will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

McDouble is pressed up against the cage. Dossey has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McDouble down to the mat. McDouble avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Dossey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Oooooh!!! McDouble has knocked Dossey down with a huge combo! McDouble steps away and waves a wobbly Dossey back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

McDouble closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Dossey out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
