Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lisandro Avellaneda (ranked 7516 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shahwali Hussainzada (ranked 5529 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lisandro Avellaneda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Shahwali Hussainzada! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Avellaneda tries to keep at a distance but Hussainzada has taken the fight into the clinch. Hussainzada looking to throw knees to the head but Avellaneda is blocking nicely.
Hussainzada tries to work over Avellaneda's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Hussainzada turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hussainzada manages to end up in side control. Hussainzada working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hussainzada tries to advance to mount but Avellaneda denies him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Avellaneda struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hussainzada tries for a kimura but Avellaneda is defending well. Avellaneda wants to get back to his feet but Hussainzada drags him back down. A lull in the action here as Hussainzada stalls from top position. Hussainzada tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hussainzada has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hussainzada trying to control the position but Avellaneda is working away. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hussainzada staying calm.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hussainzada dives in and scores a takedown into Avellaneda's guard. Hussainzada trying to stand up but can't free himself from Avellaneda's guard. Avellaneda being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hussainzada wants to stand but Avellaneda has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hussainzada won't allow Avellaneda to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hussainzada is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hussainzada wants to pass the guard but Avellaneda is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hussainzada cracks Avellaneda with a solid left hand. Hussainzada really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Avellaneda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Avellaneda is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Avellaneda is breathing heavily. Hussainzada looking to control the position here, rather than advance. It looks like Hussainzada might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hussainzada darts in and clinches Avellaneda up against the cage. Avellaneda is trying to push Hussainzada away but Hussainzada has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Hussainzada breaks the clinch.
Avellaneda shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hussainzada but Hussainzada pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hussainzada bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hussainzada is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Avellaneda knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hussainzada stands up and beckons Avellaneda to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Avellaneda misses with a head kick.
Hussainzada clinches up with Avellaneda and pushes him back against the cage. Hussainzada jumps into guard, dragging Avellaneda to the mat.
Avellaneda tries to stand but Hussainzada is controlling from the bottom. Avellaneda won't allow Hussainzada to get back to his feet. Avellaneda trying to control but Hussainzada is working from the bottom. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Hussainzada holds on and takes a little breather. Hussainzada doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hussainzada pulls Avellaneda in close to his closed guard and prevents Avellaneda from doing any damage or advancing position. Hussainzada looking for a sweep. Not yet Hussainzada, not yet. Avellaneda pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hussainzada is keeping the position for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Avellaneda seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Avellaneda tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hussainzada swivels and escapes. Hussainzada displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Avellaneda throws out the jab. Hussainzada throws a head kick but Avellaneda moves out of range.
Hussainzada shoots in and bounces Avellaneda off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hussainzada is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hussainzada is working Avellaneda over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hussainzada got a little sloppy there for a moment and Avellaneda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hussainzada has managed to get both his arms back between Avellaneda's legs - danger averted. Hussainzada throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hussainzada pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Avellaneda is keeping the position for now. Hussainzada controlling from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Let's hope that Hussainzada has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Hussainzada wants to stand but Avellaneda is controlling his posture from full guard. Hussainzada must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hussainzada showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hussainzada closes the distance and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shahwali Hussainzada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Avellaneda looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Hussainzada winds up and cracks Avellaneda with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Hussainzada has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Hussainzada is looking to advance position but Avellaneda won't allow it. Avellaneda blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hussainzada. Hussainzada controlling the action here. Avellaneda trying to hold on to Hussainzada's head to control him but Hussainzada postures up.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Avellaneda with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Avellaneda has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hussainzada is working away from the top position though. Hussainzada controlling the action here. Hussainzada sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Avellaneda defending well though.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hussainzada wants to sweep but no luck. Hussainzada is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Avellaneda trying to control the position from guard on top but Hussainzada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shahwali Hussainzada has got the better of the ground game so far. Hussainzada is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Avellaneda defends well. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Avellaneda is standing up over Hussainzada. Hussainzada looks to escape but Avellaneda dives into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hussainzada is holding Avellaneda down, trying to stall. Avellaneda working away. Hussainzada is looking for a sweep. Hussainzada can't do much from the bottom here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hussainzada is looking to get back to his feet here but Avellaneda is keeping cool and he's managed to take Hussainzada's back.
And that's the end of the fight! Shahwali Hussainzada comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hussainzada has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
