The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poole shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Campbell's guard.
Poole won't allow Campbell to sweep him here.
Campbell doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Campbell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Poole manages to get himself to full guard.

Campbell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Poole takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Campbell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Campbell is working an open guard so Poole takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Poole slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Poole gets to his feet and stands over Campbell, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Campbell felt that one! Poole unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Campbell from any more punishment!
