The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dormier misses with a combination
and Greene counters with a shoot takedown. Dormier fights it but they end up in guard.
Dormier is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Greene defends well.
Dormier looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Greene is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Greene lands a couple of elbows.
Greene cracks Dormier with a solid left hand.
Greene keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dormier's head.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Greene's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Greene distracts Dormier with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Greene working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Dormier's head.
Greene stops Dormier from standing up.
Dormier controls Greene momentarily but Greene frees himself.
Greene keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Dormier's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Greene works over Dormier with some ground and pound from guard.
Greene landing some decent shots from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greene postures up and lands a big shot to Dormier's brow.
Dormier working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Greene doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Dormier is tightening it up a little... Greene has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Greene reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Greene taps out! Nice BJJ there by Dormier!
