Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Maui Wowie (ranked 1226 p4p, 146 weight class) and Louie Litt (ranked 882 p4p, 111 weight class). Wowie comes into the arena with Dont bogart that joint blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maui Wowie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Louie Litt! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wowie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. No luck with that takedown attempt from Litt. Wowie is looking to counter the offense by Litt and move into the clinch. Good shot there by Litt. Wowie tries to clinch but Litt is having none of it. Litt lands with a thumping leg kick.
Litt lands a nice shot to the body.
Litt scores with a hook. Wowie takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wowie takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Litt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wowie sees it coming and avoids it easily. An attempted straight right counter from Wowie misses the target. Wowie throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Litt's head. Litt has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Litt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wowie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wowie tries to clinch but Litt moves away and Litt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Litt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wowie wants to get back to his feet but Litt is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Litt works over Wowie with some ground and pound from guard. Litt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wowie pushes Litt off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Wowie tries to clinch up. Wowie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Litt bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Maui Wowie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Litt throws a shot to the body.

Wowie seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Litt moves into the clinch. Wowie tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Litt manages to break the clinch.

Litt thuds his right hand into Wowie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Litt throws a sloppy head kick and Wowie counters with a head kick. Litt lands a lovely overhand right. Litt pushes Wowie up against the cage in a clinch. Litt manages to break the clinch.
Wowie is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wowie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Wowie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And Litt tries to counter it with a takedown but Wowie pushes his down on his head and steps out. Wowie avoids the body shot from Litt.
Wowie throws a body kick that misses and Litt makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Wowie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A head kick misses from Wowie. Wowie tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Litt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Litt tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Wowie is able to avoid easily. Litt shoots in and bounces Wowie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wowie is looking to stand up but Litt isn't so interested in that idea. Litt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wowie works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Wowie working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Litt. Wowie is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wowie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Litt scoring with punches to the head and body. Wowie manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Wowie looking to stall.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Litt is looking to control Wowie's arms but Wowie gets an underhook and turns him. Now Litt has his back to the cage. Litt tries to work over Wowie's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Litt takes a shot to the head. Litt has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wowie avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Litt. Wowie tries to land a knee to the head but Litt blocks with his arms.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Louie Litt dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Litt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wowie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A cross from Litt lands. Litt shoots in but no luck this time. Wowie misses with the combination.
Wowie takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Wowie scores with a kick to the body.
Wowie defending well as Litt loads up on a big left hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wowie is looking to clinch. Good exchange - Litt coming out on top. Wowie clinches up against the cage. Wowie throws a head punch that misses. Litt is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Wowie is defending well. Wowie pressing his opponent against the cage. Litt has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wowie misses with a knee to the head. Litt dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. That's two minutes gone in the round. Litt throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Litt wants to control but Wowie is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wowie is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Litt has just dragged him back down to the mat. Litt scores with punches from side control. Louie Litt has got the better of the ground game so far. Litt looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Wowie is avoiding damage well.
Wowie wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Wowie throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Litt throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wowie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Litt. Maui Wowie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louie Litt. Wowie tries to clinch there but Litt circles away.
Litt misses with a takedown attempt - Wowie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wowie lands a head kick. Litt smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Litt fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wowie checks it well. Litt connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Litt misses with a looping right. Wowie misses with a few strikes there.

Wowie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Litt moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Litt checks a leg kick. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Litt! But no joy. Litt scores with a shot to the body.

Louie Litt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Wowie scores with an uppercut up the middle. Litt manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Wowie has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Litt is pulling down on Wowie's head. It's preventing any offense from Wowie, at least for the moment. Wowie decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Louie Litt is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Litt misses with a low kick. Wowie takes the fight into the clinch. Wowie misses with a knee strike.

Wowie misses with a knee to the head. Wowie throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Litt blocks it with crossed arms. Maui Wowie has scored more points in the clinch so far. Wowie using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Litt has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

and Litt counters with a leg kick. Maui Wowie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Litt throws a lazy right hand but Wowie sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Wowie missing with a left hand there. Litt was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Maui Wowie. I think Litt has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
