Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Cosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beat Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cosby comes to the cage accompanied by Cosby Show. Brown has chosen Coal Chamber--Loco as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bill Cosby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in and drives through. Cosby sprawls well.
Brown stuffs the takedown.

and Brown counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Brown avoids the body shot from Cosby.
Cosby swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown clinches up against the cage.
Cosby is looking to break free of the clinch but Brown has double underhooks.
Cosby manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Cosby is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cosby is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cosby had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Brown is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cosby Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Brown's back instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cosby doesn't have the hooks in and Brown manages to turn into his guard.

Brown is looking to take a break and control but Cosby is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cosby can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Brown controls the pace.
Brown's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Cosby has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Cosby is trying to drag Brown to the mat but Brown just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Cosby goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Cosby will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Brown takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cosby is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Beat Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

and Brown counters with a series of strikes. Cosby will be more careful next time no doubt.
Brown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cosby feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cosby escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brown seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Cosby working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fight stays on the outside here - Brown looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Beat Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
