Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Molby (ranked 5890 p4p, 664 weight class) and Billy Kidman (ranked 6947 p4p, 707 weight class). Kidman has chosen You Can Run as his entrance music. Billy Kidman looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jan Molby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Billy Kidman!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidman fails to land the takedown.
Kidman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Molby's waist but Molby gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kidman off to one side.
Molby half committed to a counter leg kick.
Kidman checks a low kick from Molby.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kidman or perhaps it was just good defense by Molby, which made it look bad.
Kidman has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Molby is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Jan Molby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Kidman.
Kidman gets caught flat footed, as Molby shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Molby slips nicely into half guard.
We've been hearing that Molby has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Kidman won't allow Molby to pass to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Molby passes to side control.

Molby lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Molby in side control lands a decent elbow.
Molby lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kidman down.
Kidman is rocked!
Molby crunches a massive hammerfist down on Kidman - he's out! Molby Holds back on further strikes and jumps to his feet to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jan Molby!
A less than humble Jan Molby misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
The defeated Billy Kidman had this to say: 'I'll be back'.
