Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manu Peralta (ranked 5521 p4p, 377 weight class) and Alicia Mendez (ranked 7721 p4p, 453 weight class). Peralta comes to the cage accompanied by Moke boy - Hawaiian kickboxer. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manu Peralta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alicia Mendez!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez misses with an uppercut.
A jab lands there for Peralta.
Mendez throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Peralta throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mendez drives through and clinches with Peralta against the cage.
Peralta misses with a hook from the clinch.
Peralta lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mendez or not.
Mendez breaks from the clinch.
Peralta looks to land a combination but Mendez avoids it well.
Peralta throws a right hand that Mendez ducks under and follows up with a left that Mendez also avoids with ease.
Mendez appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Mendez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mendez lands with a nice body punch.
Mendez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mendez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Peralta tries to close the distance and clinch but Mendez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Peralta is looking to clinch.
Peralta closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mendez did well to prevent Peralta getting side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Peralta perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mendez keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Peralta frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Peralta looking to control and managing it successfully.
Peralta scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Peralta moves to back control.
Peralta has managed to slip his arm under Mendez's chin. This could be all over... yep, Mendez is tapping out! Submission win for Peralta.
