Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joey Styles (ranked 6201 p4p, 444 weight class) and Kyle Sauve (ranked 3397 p4p, 0 weight class). Sauve has chosen Prodigy Out of Space as his entrance music. Kyle Sauve is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauve closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Styles to the mat! Styles manages to get full guard.
Sauve postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Sauve working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Styles not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sauve pushes down on Styles's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ground and pound from Sauve.
Styles trying to hold on to Sauve's head to control him but Sauve postures up.
Sauve takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sauve's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Styles on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Styles tries to get out of the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sauve uses his free foot to push down on Styles's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Styles.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Styles is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sauve fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Sauve swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kyle Sauve!
After winning the bout, Kyle Sauve thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
