The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida tries for a takedown but Paige sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Machida shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Paige as he avoids it easily.
Paige lets loose with a powerful body kick. Machida will feel that in the morning.
Paige scores with a takedown into Machida's guard.
Paige postures up.
Machida preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Paige passes into half guard.
Paige is thwarting Machida's attempts to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Machida is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Paige pulls his head out easily.
Paige is looking for a kimura here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
