The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bly lunges at Maxwell with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Maxwell's hand.

It looks like Kenneth Maxwell has been cut.
Bly cracks Maxwell with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bly misses with a combination
and Maxwell counters with a straight right hand.
Bly lands a two punch combo.
A jab lands there for Bly.
A head kick misses from Bly.
An attempted straight right counter from Maxwell misses the target.
Bly looks to throw the jab but Maxwell is out of range.
A quick step to the side and Maxwell tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bly throws a head kick but Maxwell moves out of range.
Maxwell half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Maxwell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bly swivels and escapes.
Bly misses with a jab, cross combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bly dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Maxwell. That did some damage!
Maxwell could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bly shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Maxwell eats them both and turns towards Bly to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Maxwell is rocked!
Bly shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Maxwell takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Bly sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Maxwell bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

After the fight, Mario Bly was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
