Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jashon McKnight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Donovan Shaw has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Donovan Shaw seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by McKnight.
Shaw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McKnight is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shaw is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Shaw is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked McKnight off and has taken his back!
McKnight wants to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shaw throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting McKnight!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McKnight really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shaw. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Even with his hooks in, Shaw manages to miss with strikes from the back.
