Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Badr Houdoe (ranked 3665 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masaya Kubo (ranked 4312 p4p, 0 weight class). Masaya Kubo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Badr Houdoe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Masaya Kubo!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Houdoe scores with a four punch combination!
Houdoe lands a nice shot to the body.
Kubo has closed the distance and engaged Houdoe in a clinch.
Houdoe jumps guard.
Kubo wanted to stand there but Houdoe had control of the position.
Kubo forces his way into half guard.
Houdoe is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Houdoe pushes Kubo off looking to stand but Kubo dives back in and keeps control.

Kubo is pressed up against the cage. Houdoe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kubo down to the mat. Kubo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kubo closes the distance and clinches up with Houdoe, looking for a takedown. Kubo pushes Houdoe against the cage but Houdoe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Houdoe lands with a straight right. Kubo didn't see that one coming.
Sloppy strikes from Houdoe. Those never looked like landing.

Kubo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Houdoe tries to avoid it but Kubo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Houdoe to the ground. Houdoe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Masaya Kubo.
I think Houdoe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
