The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lashley has closed the distance and engaged dasterdly in a clinch.

Lashley turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
dasterdly can't do much from the bottom here.
dasterdly tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lashley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

dasterdly is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lashley gets his way!

Lashley is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. dasterdly is defending well though. Lashley let's go of the attempt for now.

dasterdly trying to control the position from guard on top but Lashley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
dasterdly misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Lashley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. dasterdly looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lashley decides to take the fight back to the feet.

dasterdly gets caught flat footed, as Lashley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
dasterdly manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lashley manages to get himself to full guard.

dasterdly seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lashley does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Lashley seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Lashley is looking to take a break and control but dasterdly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

dasterdly might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lashley kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Lashley is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but dasterdly has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lashley is looking to defend but dasterdly has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lashley! dasterdly pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lashley taps out and this one is all over!
