Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Weiss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevon Dursnake! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dursnake!
It looks like Bobby Weiss has been cut. Weiss on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Dursnake throws a half hearted mid kick. A counter left hand to the body from Weiss misses its target. Weiss steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dursnake. That one must have hurt. A slapping body kick lands there for Dursnake. Weiss could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Dursnake connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Weiss's hands. Weiss tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dursnake is trying to counter with his kicks. Weiss takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dursnake throws a head kick but Weiss moves out of range.
As Dursnake looks to move away, Weiss throws a big counter combo but Dursnake just gets out of the way. A head kick by Dursnake - that's a beauty! Weiss is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Dursnake can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Kevon Dursnake!
