The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Furley throws a series of punches but A avoids them all with ease.
A slips a straight right by Furley.
Furley tries to bum rush A with a series of wild strikes but A uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Furley throws a right hand that A ducks under and follows up with a left that A also avoids with ease.
A fails to land the takedown.
Furley misses with the combination.
Furley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A feints and as Furley raises his hands in defense, A changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
A wants to pass the guard but Furley is keeping the position.

A drops back looking for a leg! Furley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Furley manages to kick A off! A jumps back into Furley's guard.

A has gone for a leg lock! Furley slips out almost immediately though and dives into A's guard.
Furley controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Furley wants to control from the top but A keeps moving.

A escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Furley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
A is breathing heavily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Furley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

A gets caught flat footed, as Furley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

A escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Furley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Furley wants to get up but he can't break A's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jani A will probably get the nod.
That's time! A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Furley gets a clinch.

Furley gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

A working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Furley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Furley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Furley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Furley wanted to stand there but A had control of the position.

A is looking for a triangle but Furley pushes his legs off easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Furley slips nicely into half guard.
Furley is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Furley decides to stand up.
Furley's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Furley duly obliges.

and A counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
A advances position into side control!

A thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

A working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Furley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with A. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Furley holds on to A's head and controls the position momentarily.

A is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Furley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jani A dominated that second round.
That's time! A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!



Furley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Furley wants to control but A is keeping him busy.

A is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Furley is tapping! Great win for A!
