Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Andreev (ranked 128 p4p, 22 weight class) and Min-Sik Song (ranked 239 p4p, 42 weight class). Song has chosen nkoha - Akatsuki as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexey Andreev! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Min-Sik Song! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andreev throws a jab when Song was well out of range. Song misses with a hook. Song avoids the body shot from Andreev.
It seemed like Song was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Andreev looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Andreev. Andreev misses with a wild body shot. Andreev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Song swats him away and circles back towards the center. Andreev shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Song as he jumps to the side. Song moves into range and connects with a jab. Andreev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Song uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Andreev.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Andreev on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Song connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Andreev closes the distance and pushes Song back into the cage. Song tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Andreev's elbow. Andreev lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Song wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Andreev landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Andreev seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Song has recovered full guard. Andreev is in close to Song's body, working some short punches and elbows. Song is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Andreev wants to pass the guard but Song is keeping the position. Song avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Andreev prevents Song from getting back to his feet. Andreev missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Song wants to stand and escape but Andreev is having none of it. Andreev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Andreev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Andreev cracks Song with a solid left hand. Song is looking to stand up but Andreev isn't so interested in that idea. Song working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Andreev. Andreev scoring with some ground and pound. Andreev content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Andreev works over Song with some ground and pound from guard. Andreev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Andreev wants to control from the top but Song keeps moving. Andreev lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andreev is in close to Song's body, working some short punches and elbows. Song is looking to stand up but Andreev isn't so interested in that idea. Song is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Andreev working some strikes from top position. That's four minutes gone in the round. Andreev stands up over Song, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Andreev with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Andreev is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Song wants to stand and escape but Andreev is having none of it. Andreev is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Song is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Andreev is controlling him. Andreev lands a couple of decent looking shots. Song wants to stand but Andreev is controlling the position. Andreev passes into half guard. Song wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexey Andreev dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Song fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Andreev checks it well. Andreev scores with a punch to the head. Song throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A jab from Song misses. Andreev dives in and grabs Song's left leg, looking for a takedown. Song pushes down on Andreev's head and hops out. Song throws a shot from downtown. Andreev moves away and avoids it. Andreev lands with a straight right. Song didn't see that one coming. Song cracks the inside of Andreev's front leg. Song fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Andreev manages to avoid it. Min-Sik Song seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Song misses with a hook
enabling Andreev to counter with a crisp jab. Song rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Andreev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Song connects with a leg kick. Andreev looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Song keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Andreev. A punch combination from Andreev misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Song rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Andreev counters with a stiff right hand. Andreev shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Andreev loads up on a big right hand but Song slips the punch. Song closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andreev fails in his attempt to clinch. A shot to the liver by Andreev. Beautiful body shot. Song digs a good body shot into Andreev's ribs. Song misses with an uppercut. Song throws a front kick that sends Andreev stumbling back into the cage. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Song, right into the meat.
Song uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Andreev.
Song fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Andreev looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Andreev takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Andreev with a lazy takedown attempt and Andreev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Song throws a shot from downtown. Andreev moves away and avoids it. Song lands a nice looking body kick. Andreev shoots in looking for a takedown but Song manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Andreev's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexey Andreev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Song connects with a good right hand that stumbles Andreev. Andreev circles away out of range and recomposes himself. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Andreev ducks under a wild hook from Song. Song misses the shot to the body. Song scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Andreev shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Andreev is keen to just control but Song is a slippery customer. Alexey Andreev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Andreev prevents Song from standing back up.
Song is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Andreev has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Song is tapping! This fight is all over!

A relieved looking Alexey Andreev thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
