Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Garibaldi (ranked 1350 p4p, 171 weight class) and Ingvar Ingesson (ranked 1559 p4p, 192 weight class). Garibaldi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Resist and Bite - Sabaton. Ingesson has chosen Sail - AWOLNATION as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ingesson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Garibaldi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and Garibaldi counters with a nice right hand that sends Ingesson toppling to the canvas! Ingesson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Garibaldi finish him?!
Ingesson is rocked!
It looks like Ingvar Ingesson has been cut.
Garibaldi is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Ingesson flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Ingesson is out cold! Garibaldi holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

During a confident post fight interview, Michael Garibaldi thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Ingvar Ingesson stepped up to the mic, saying 'He was the better fighter this time.
