Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Braian Leites (ranked 5536 p4p, 199 weight class) and Gary Goodwill (ranked 5543 p4p, 386 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goodwill will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Leites up against the cage.

and Leites counters with a series of strikes. Goodwill will be more careful next time no doubt.

Leites shoots in looking for a takedown but Goodwill manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Leites's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Leites throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Goodwill's waist but Goodwill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Leites off to one side.

Leites is looking to work some ground and pound but Goodwill has wrist control.

Leites pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Goodwill is keeping the position for now.

Leites is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Leites jumps guard but Goodwill turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
