Viktorov has chosen Lyube - Davay Za as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Aleksey Viktorov!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lister throws out a leg kick but Viktorov moves out of range and Lister only half commits.
Viktorov tries to clinch but Lister moves out of range.
Lister throws a wild body kick that Viktorov sees coming a mile off.

Viktorov takes the fight into the clinch.
Viktorov jumps guard but Lister stands there with Viktorov around his waist. Viktorov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Viktorov fails to pull guard.
Viktorov avoiding damage as Lister throws knees to the body.
Lister misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Viktorov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lister walks away with a smile on his face. Viktorov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looked like Lister was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Lister throws a low kick, looking for Viktorov's leg but Viktorov calmly moves out of range.

Lister gets through Viktorov's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Lister struggles to land a body shot inside as Viktorov controls his hands.

Viktorov is looking to clinch but Lister is avoiding it.

Lister lands a glancing blow to the side of Viktorov's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Viktorov doesn't manage to clinch there - Lister circles away.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lister throws a right and a left that both miss.

Viktorov closes the distance and pushes Lister back into the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Viktorov wants to sweep here but Lister controlling him for the moment.

Lister avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lister knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Viktorov on the ground.

Viktorov is looking for a triangle but Lister pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Viktorov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lister postures up and lands a big shot to Viktorov's brow.

Lister advances to half guard.
Lister takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Viktorov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Viktorov regains full guard. Nicely done.
Lister is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Viktorov can do to turn this around?

Lister distracts Viktorov with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Viktorov looking to control.
Lister is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Lister trying to control the position from guard on top but Viktorov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Viktorov has his foot on Lister's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lister works his way back into a safe position though.

Lister is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Viktorov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lister is looking to defend but Viktorov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lister! Viktorov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lister taps out and this one is all over!
