Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomomi Tsuruta (ranked 4002 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Cage (ranked 2934 p4p, 271 weight class). Cage has chosen Walk - Pantera as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Johnny Cage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsuruta shoots in for a takedown but Cage shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cage digs a good body shot into Tsuruta's ribs.
Cage looks to score with a jab to the body but Tsuruta is just out of range.
Tsuruta throwing a counter right hand but Cage manages to avoid it.
Johnny Cage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Cage. Those never looked like landing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cage moves in looking to clinch but Tsuruta pushes him off.
Tsuruta is looking to counter punch.
A cross from Cage lands.
It looks like Tomomi Tsuruta has been cut.
Cage throws a body kick that misses
and Tsuruta counters with a stiff right hand.
Cage throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tsuruta.
Tsuruta throwing a counter right hand but Cage manages to avoid it.
Cage tries to clinch there but Tsuruta circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cage drops Tsuruta with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tsuruta looks back up at him and smiles so Cage waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Tsuruta is rocked!

Tsuruta throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Oh Tsuruta is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cage drops Tsuruta with a naaaaasty hook - Tsuruta is in real trouble here! Cage dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Cage!
