Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Pole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dom Willis! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Willis avoids the body shot from Pole.
Willis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Willis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pole throws out the jab. Willis looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Willis ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Willis lands a head shot. Willis punishes Pole's body with a nice straight punch. Willis getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Pole takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Pole is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Pole misses with a hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Willis keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Willis connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Pole jabbing away but nothing is landing. Willis scores with a crisp jab that stopped Pole in his tracks. A looping hook to the body misses from Pole. Willis does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis getting the better of the striking in that exchange. The crowd cheers as Willis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pole doesn't seem phased though.
Pole is rocked! Pole is aggressively charging in as Willis backs up avoiding any damage. Willis tosses out a jab and Pole runs right into it face first! Pole is out cold! Willis dropped down on all fours and is barking in Pole's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
