Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ruben Nevez (ranked 674 p4p, 75 weight class) and Jazz Clementine (ranked 1690 p4p, 170 weight class). Clementine has chosen Tastes Like Kevin Bacon as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ruben Nevez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jazz Clementine!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevez throws a lazy right hand but Clementine sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Clementine throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Clementine clinches up against the cage.
Clementine jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nevez walks away with a smile on his face. Clementine gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nevez scores with the left hand. Clementine knows he should have avoided that one.
Clementine keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nevez.
Nevez catches Clementine with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Clementine instigates a clinch.
Nice body punch from Nevez - that landed with a thud.
Clementine tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nevez lands a hook that snaps the head of Clementine backwards.
Nevez tries to break free but Clementine pushes him back against the cage.
Clementine fails to pull guard.
Ruben Nevez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jazz Clementine.
Clementine has hold of one of Nevez's legs. Nevez is fighting the takedown attempt but Clementine gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Nevez is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clementine has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nevez uses from the top position.
Clementine is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Nevez wants to get back to his feet.
Clementine is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nevez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Clementine.
Clementine tries to pass to full mount but Nevez defends it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Clementine is trying to work for a kimura but Nevez is defending well.
Clementine is taking a breather. Nevez says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Clementine looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Clementine tries to pass to full mount but Nevez defends it.

Clementine is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nevez sees it coming and defends easily.
Clementine is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nevez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Clementine.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Clementine prevents Nevez from standing back up.
Clementine wants to control but Nevez is keeping him busy.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Clementine is looking for a kimura here.
Clementine wants to free his trapped foot but Nevez is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Clementine is working for a kimura but Nevez is defending it quite comfortably.
Nevez wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Clementine is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jazz Clementine will probably get the nod.
That's time! Nevez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nevez struggles to land a body shot inside as Clementine controls his hands.
Nevez breaks the clinch.
Nevez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Clementine's hands.
Clementine tries to close the distance and clinch but Nevez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nevez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Clementine moves to clinch but Nevez breaks away
and Nevez counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nevez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Clementine.
Clementine shoots in and gets a takedown into Nevez's guard.
Clementine wants to control from the top but Nevez keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Clementine tries to free his leg and advance position but Nevez is retaining full guard.
Clementine works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Clementine works his foot free and advances to mount.
Nevez is controlling an arm, preventing Clementine from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Clementine is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nevez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Clementine works his way to his opponent's back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nevez defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Clementine's arms.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clementine is cranking Nevez's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Nevez! He's tightened the choke and Nevez is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jazz Clementine!
Jazz Clementine bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
