Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Puller (ranked 943 p4p, 140 weight class) and Gavin Gagnon (ranked 1727 p4p, 234 weight class). Gagnon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hand Clap by Fitz and the Tantrums. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Puller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gavin Gagnon!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puller fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gagnon has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gagnon will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gagnon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Gagnon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Puller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Puller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

John Puller tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
