Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Katuro Tisoaka!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tisoaka closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tisoaka lands in his opponent's guard.
Takahashi is looking to sweep but instead, Tisoaka has passed into half guard.
Takahashi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Takahashi tries to get out of the position.

I really don't envy Takahashi right now.
Tisoaka is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Tisoaka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Takahashi pinned against the cage. Takahashi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Tisoaka lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Takahashi sprawling to the canvas. Tisoaka follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Takahashi hang on?

Well, if Tisoaka is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Tisoaka looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Takahashi tries to roll over but Tisoaka keeps him under control.

Takahashi is looking to get back to full guard here but Tisoaka has managed to pass to side control instead.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Katuro Tisoaka has got the better of the ground game so far.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tisoaka takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Katuro Tisoaka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Tisoaka fails in his attempt to clinch.
Takahashi avoids the head kick by Tisoaka.
Takahashi scores with a leg kick.
Takahashi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tisoaka. That did some damage!
Tisoaka fails with the takedown.
Tisoaka fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Takahashi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Takahashi tries to keep at a distance but Tisoaka has taken the fight into the clinch.
Takahashi misses with a hook to the ribs.

Tisoaka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Takahashi tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tisoaka counters with a takedown into side control.

Tisoaka remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tisoaka working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Takahashi is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Tisoaka has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Takahashi taps out!
