Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Silas Tourn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Jeferson! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tourn misses with a body shot.
Jeferson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! A solid leg kick lands there for Jeferson.
Tourn fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jeferson to the ground. Tourn is now in Jeferson's guard. Jeferson wants to stand and escape but Tourn is having none of it. Tourn showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Tourn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jeferson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Jeferson gets off balance looking for a body kick and Tourn counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Jeferson! This has been an exciting period of action! Tourn staying calm. Tourn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jeferson keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tourn cracks Jeferson with a big elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tourn is putting a hurting on Jeferson here, landing some big shots from side control. Tourn tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Jeferson tries to escape but Tourn is in control. Tourn fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Tourn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Tourn content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Tourn has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Tourn slips a nice elbow through Jeferson's hands, connecting with Jeferson's forehead. Tourn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Tourn missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jeferson taking some punishment here, with Tourn in his half guard. Tourn takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Tourn lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tourn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Tourn distracts Jeferson with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tourn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jeferson wants to stand but Tourn is controlling the position. Tourn is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Tourn controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jeferson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tourn controlling the position easily from mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tourn landing strikes from the mount.
