The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Culpi is looking to land body kicks.
Choi is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Culpi.
Jemerson Culpi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Choi closes the distance but Culpi moves to the side
and Culpi counters with a takedown into side control.
Culpi is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Choi is trying to escape and Culpi transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Choi is forced to tap! Nice work there by Culpi! Very nice indeed!
