The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Paulin scrambles back to his feet.
A head kick misses from Paulin.
Paulin fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bell is out of range.
Bell misses with a hook.
Bell swinging wildly here.
Paulin is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Bell wants to clinch but Paulin slips to the side
and Paulin counters with a stiff right hand.
Bell lands a jab.

It looks like Thierry Paulin has been cut.
Bell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bell drops his hands momentarily and Paulin takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Bell rushes Paulin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bell feints a jab promting Paulin to slip. Bell then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Paulin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Paulin lands with an uppercut that bounces Bell off the cage and back into range.
Paulin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like Bell wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Bell counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Paulin takes one to the chin there.
Paulin throws a sloppy head kick and Bell moves out of range easily.
Paulin misses with a hook. Bell ducked under it nicely.
Bell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Paulin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Paulin cracks Bell with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

and Bell counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Paulin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
