Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Trippa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stan Mailic!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mailic's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mailic duly obliges.
It looks like Jack Trippa has been cut.
Mailic takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Trippa throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Trippa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Trippa seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Mailic moves into the clinch successfully.
A short body shot lands from Mailic as the two fighters clinch.
Mailic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mailic goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Trippa missing with knees to the body.
Trippa misses with an elbow strike.
Trippa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mailic's elbow.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Mailic.
Trippa breaks the clinch.
Mailic moves away from the strike by Trippa.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mailic. Trippa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mailic clinches up against the ropes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mailic lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Mailic blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Mailic lands a body punch in the clinch.
Trippa is breathing heavily.
Mailic throws an elbow but it misses.
Mailic lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Mailic creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Trippa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Trippa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mailic can pounce on him.
Trippa throws a low kick but Mailic avoids it.
Trippa tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Mailic manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Trippa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Trippa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Touch Of Death Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Trippa on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Trippa gets tackled into the ropes by Mailic. Mailic maintains the clinch.

Mailic drops Trippa onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Trippa is propped up by the ropes and works his way back to his feet!
Trippa is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
With the fighters up against the ropes, Mailic throws an elbow but misses.
Oh Trippa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A short left from Mailic.
Mailic creates a bit of distance and unloads a huge uppercut that knocks Trippa out cold! The ref dives in to break up the two fighters! The fight is over!
