Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conor Daley (ranked 3521 p4p, 334 weight class) and Seifer Almasy (ranked 3876 p4p, 353 weight class). Daley comes to the cage accompanied by Dropkick Murphy's - Shipping Up To Boston. Almasy has chosen Slayer - South Of Heaven as his entrance music. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Seifer Almasy!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almasy throws a big shot that misses.
Almasy looks to land a body kick but Daley moved away.
Daley is looking to chop away at Almasy's legs.
Almasy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Almasy takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Conor Daley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Almasy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Daley.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Daley creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Almasy tries to work over Daley's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Almasy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've been informed that Almasy has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Daley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Almasy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Almasy lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Daley misses with a few strikes there.
Daley doesn't manage to clinch there - Almasy circles away.
Almasy tries a quick counter leg kick but Daley is wise to it.
Daley takes a shot to the body in his stride.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Some bone on bone action there as Almasy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Daley plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Conor Daley has been cut.

Daley moves in looking to clinch but Almasy pushes him off.

Daley tries to close the distance and clinch but Almasy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Almasy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Almasy checks a leg kick.
Daley looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Almasy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Almasy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Almasy lands with a cross.
A head kick by Daley misses
and Almasy counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Daley is breathing heavily.
Almasy lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Daley tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Almasy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Almasy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Almasy cracks Daley with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Daley falls to his knees and Almasy doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seifer Almasy!
Our winner, Seifer Almasy, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
