The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cane bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. jones is looking to regain half guard here but Cane keeps moving and retains side control. Cane is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt jones will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Cane lands a few punches from side control. jones gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cane is keen to just control but jones is a slippery customer. jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. jones is looking for a sweep. Cane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. jones slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Cane's corner is telling him to maintain position. jones is trying to hold Cane in close to prevent damage but Cane has managed to pass into half guard.
Cane stands up and beckons jones to join him on the feet. A punch combination from jones misses. Cane shoots in and bounces jones off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. jones is breathing heavily. jones trying to keep a closed guard but Cane is proving a slippery customer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Cane looking to pass the guard. jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cane manages to get himself to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Cane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. jones preventing the sweep. jones tries to stand but Cane is controlling from the bottom. Cane trying to control the position here. jones will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. jones would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Cane dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A left lands for Cane. jones misses with a wild combination.
Cane scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Cane scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Cane trying to control the position but jones is working away. Cane taking a break here but jones is having none of it and regains half guard. Cane looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cane is taking a breather. jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. jones is staying active underneath Cane, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Cane passes into side control, despite jones's attempt to control the position.
Cane stands up. Cane looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cane controls the pace of the fight for a moment. jones is trying to keep Cane in close.
jones is working an open guard so Cane takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Cane takes a kick to the side of the head. Cane decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. jones desperately trying to maintain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. jones is looking to get back to full guard here but Cane has managed to pass to side control instead. jones is looking to get to half guard. Cane looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Cane takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. jones tries to control Cane's body but Cane pushes him off. jones squirms to his side and now Cane has his back! Jack Cane has got the better of the ground game so far. jones prevents Cane from getting a body triangle. jones tries to roll but Cane sticks to his back.

Jack Cane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
jones shoots and misses and Cane counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cane. Cane wants to stand but jones has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cane trying to control but jones is working from the bottom. Cane is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Cane's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Cane stands up over jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cane pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. jones is keeping the position for now. jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cane trying to control the position from guard on top but jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. jones is trying to keep Cane in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Cane is standing up over jones. jones looks to escape but Cane dives into side control.
Cane has knee on belly and moves into mount. jones can't escape the position.
Cane is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! jones closes the distance looking to clinch and Cane counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cane.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cane fails with a takedown attempt from distance. tyson jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cane tries to clinch up. Cane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. jones scores with a takedown into Cane's guard. jones stops Cane from standing up.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Cane comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cane has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
