Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ranulf Drengot (ranked 3789 p4p, 385 weight class) and Takuya Sakamoto (ranked 3873 p4p, 393 weight class). Takuya Sakamoto has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ranulf Drengot's chin.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ranulf Drengot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Takuya Sakamoto! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drengot gets caught napping as Sakamoto dives in and scores a takedown. Drengot manages to retain guard. Sakamoto seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

My spies in 3Band MMA ($700/week) inform me that Sakamoto has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Drengot manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sakamoto's best efforts.
