Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ready Go (ranked 6287 p4p, 204 weight class) and Gregory Triple G (ranked 7168 p4p, 210 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gregory Triple G! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Go gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Triple G is trying to maintain a safe position but Go gets an underhook and turns Triple G into the ropes. A head punch on the inside from Triple G fails to land. A hook to the body from Go.

Go keeps the fight on the outside. Go clinches up with Triple G and pushes him back against the ropes. Triple G tries to land knees in the clinch but Go avoids the damage to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Triple G avoiding damage.

We've been hearing reports that Go has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Go lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Triple G circles away quickly and effectively. Good work by Go as he checks the leg kick. Triple G wants to clinch. Go closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Triple G crashing to the mat! Triple G uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
It looks like Gregory Triple G has been cut. Go fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Triple G, pushing him back against the ropes. Go stalling against the ropes.

Go could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Go circles away from the clinch attempt and Go counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Go darts in and clinches Triple G up against the ropes. Triple G wants to stall.

It looks like Ready Go has been cut. Triple G throws a right and a left that both miss. Triple G wants to clinch and Go counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Triple G wants to clinch but Go slips to the side and Go counters with a nice uppercut. Triple G tries to land a body kick and Go counters with a lead uppercut that lands right on the button! Triple G goes down! Will Triple G beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's up! No problem. Let's get back to the action! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Go darts in and clinches Triple G up against the ropes. Go taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ready Go takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Gregory Triple G was lucky to get out of the first round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Triple G closes the distance looking to clinch and Triple G takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Go rushes Triple G and presses him up against the ropes. Go is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Triple G can do to turn this around? Triple G has had enough of the clinch but Go keeps him there for the moment. Go swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Gregory Triple G seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Go avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Go appears to be looking for a big counter. Ready Go is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Go has closed the distance and engaged Triple G in a clinch.
Go is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Go keeps control of Triple G as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Triple G throws a leg kick enabling Go to counter with a crisp jab. Triple G tries to clinch up but Go circles away and keeps his distance. Go rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Triple G counters with a straight right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Go will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A left and a right from Triple G both land. Nice combination. Triple G fails to land with a series of punches.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Triple G. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Triple G displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Go throws out the jab. Despite the aggression on Triple G's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Go clinches up with Triple G and pushes him back against the ropes. Go breaks from the clinch.

As Triple G looks to move away, Go throws a big counter combo but Triple G just gets out of the way. Go closes the distance and clinches. Go blocking some punches.

Go tries to bum rush Triple G with a series of wild strikes but Triple G uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Triple G moves to clinch but Go breaks away and Go counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Triple G is looking to clinch but Go is avoiding it.
Triple G scores with the left hand. Go knows he should have avoided that one. Go connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Triple G's hands. Ready Go is winning the standup battle so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Triple G throws a half hearted mid kick. Go throws a big counter combination but Triple G scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Triple G takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Go engages and cracks Triple G with a massive lead left hook - Triple G tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Go is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
