Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chosu Viv (ranked 3278 p4p, 266 weight class) and Holt Dennis (ranked 3049 p4p, 251 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dennis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Viv, pushing him back against the cage.
Dennis is pressed up against the cage. Viv has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dennis down to the mat. Dennis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Viv dives in for a single leg takedown but Dennis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Viv keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Viv sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Viv stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dennis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dennis pushes Viv off and scrambles back to his feet.
Dennis takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dennis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Viv moves away.
Viv fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
