Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deandre Hull (ranked 25287 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Pranjic (ranked 5325 p4p, 0 weight class). Pranjic is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Plain Jane. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pranjic closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hull to the mat! Hull manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pranjic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Pranjic trying to control but Hull is working from the bottom.
Pranjic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hull swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hull can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pranjic controls the pace.
Pranjic throws an elbow that misses. Hull uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pranjic's guard. Nice move by Hull!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pranjic throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Pranjic wants to sweep here but Hull controlling him for the moment.
Pranjic isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hull stacks Pranjic on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hull!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hull is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Pranjic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Hull will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pranjic shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pranjic showed some decent athleticism there.
Hull scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Pranjic manages to mount him!

Hull is squirming around, avoiding Pranjic's attempts to control the action.

Hull looking to score a takedown here. Pranjic is defending well but Hull drives through and ends up in Pranjic's guard.
Pranjic is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Hull dives into side control.

Hull is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pranjic.
It looks like Deandre Hull has been cut.

A low kick from Pranjic misses
and Hull counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Pranjic bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hull's guard.
Pranjic wants to get up but he can't break Hull's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Pranjic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Hull will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Pranjic seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hull pushes Pranjic off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Ivan Pranjic is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
