Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Morrison Lee (ranked 2002 p4p, 237 weight class) and Rodney Holzken (ranked 8228 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes into the arena with The Pretender blaring out of the sound system. Holzken has chosen Justin Bieber ft. Ariana Grande - Let Me Think Bout You as his entrance music. Rodney Holzken has the eye of the tiger tonight.

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Morrison Lee! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 5 losses; Rodney Holzken!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Paul Aken.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Lee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Holzken manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Holzken not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Holzken has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Lee sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee wants to control from the top but Holzken keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee won't allow Holzken to sweep him here.

Holzken escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Holzken manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.

Holzken slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lee has his foot on Holzken's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Holzken works his way back into a safe position though.

Holzken stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lee seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Holzken works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Holzken passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lee!

Holzken is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lee is surviving well by controlling Holzken's body position as best he can.

Holzken swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lee is now in Holzken's guard. A big mistake from Holzken there, giving up the dominant position!

Lee had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Holzken defends it easily.

Holzken wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.

Holzken tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Holzken has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

As we have tied on points, we go to a tie breaker and Holzken gets a bonus point for attempting more subs.
