Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jabbar Omarov (ranked 1520 p4p, 191 weight class) and Bang Pitung (ranked 1733 p4p, 216 weight class). Pitung comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Madball - Born Strong kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omarov takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Jabbar Omarov has been cut.
Pitung misses with an uppercut. Omarov saw that one coming.
Pitung scores with a decent looking hook.
Pitung stuffs the takedown.
Pitung only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Omarov misses with an uppercut.
Omarov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Pitung.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Omarov loads up on a big right hand but Pitung slips the punch.
Pitung thows a left - swing and a miss!
Omarov looks to throw the jab but Pitung is out of range.

Pitung feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Omarovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fighters circling - Pitung throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pitung throws a hook but Omarov avoids it easily.
Pitung scores with a nice head shot.
Omarov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Omarov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Pitung sneaks out the side door and pushes Omarov away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pitung looks for the body kick but Omarov saw that one coming.
Pitung throws a head kick but Omarov moves out of range.
Pitung ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Omarov moves away.
Jab, jab by Omarov - just one landing.
Pitung tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Omarov was well out of range. Poor timing from Pitung.
Pitung works Omarov's body with a nice hook.
Pitung throws out a leg kick but Omarov moves out of range and Pitung only half commits.

Omarov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pitung connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Pitung connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Omarov momentarily.
Nice sprawl there from Pitung as Omarov shoots in.
Pitung throws out a counter right but Omarov avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jabbar Omarov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pitung lands with a kick to the ribs.
Pitung misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Omarov scores with a takedown into Pitung's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pitung is on top in guard.

Pitung chips away with some ground and pound.

Pitung is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Omarov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pitung is looking to defend but Omarov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pitung! Omarov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pitung taps out and this one is all over!

Jabbar Omarov was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
