Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Puncho Pound (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fedor Slice will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Puncho Pound!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Slice!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice fails with a takedown attempt.
Pound will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Slice throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pound.

Pound ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slice moves away.
Slice shoots in but Pound avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Puncho Pound has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Slice.

Pound decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Slice manages to get to full guard.

Pound connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Slice some visible discomfort.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pound cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Slice is in a horrible position here. Pound smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Pound lands a big shot there that rocks Slice but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slice throwing hammer fists to the chest of Pound. What's that going to do exactly?
Pound has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Slice's face.
The referee warns Slice that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Pound wants to finish this one by submission but Slice is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pound.
Pound postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Slice looks a forlorn figure.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pound drops an elbow to the side of Slice's head.
Pound working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Pound changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Slice looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Slice manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Puncho Pound will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Slice moves out of range as Pound strikes.

Slice feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
