Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hans Hermann Hoppe (ranked 463 p4p, 59 weight class) and Diego Hageman (ranked 816 p4p, 100 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hoppe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Wind of Change. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hans Hermann Hoppe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Diego Hageman!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoppe takes the fight into the clinch.

We've been hearing reports that Hoppe has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Hoppe blocks a body shot from Hageman.
Hoppe wants to take the fight to the mat but Hageman manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Hageman felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Hoppe seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
