Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Small Show (ranked 2485 p4p, 221 weight class) and Hayate Sakurai (ranked 3477 p4p, 277 weight class). Show comes to the cage accompanied by My Time Is Now. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hayate Sakurai! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Show misses with a looping right. Sakurai is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Sakurai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sakurai darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sakurai moves nicely into side control. Show struggling a bit here. Show tries to bench press Sakurai off him but Sakurai keeps the position. Sakurai looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sakurai is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Show knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sakurai tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sakurai has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Show tries to get out of the position. Show knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sakurai on the ground. Sakurai is looking to take a break and control but Show is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hayate Sakurai has got the better of the ground game so far. Show engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Show has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Show throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Show is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Show trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Sakurai manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Show trying to control the position.

Sakurai lets go of the hold and Show can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hayate Sakurai! A very excited looking Hayate Sakurai made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. Small Show spoke after the fight, saying 'My time is not yet now.'.
