Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gregory McVaughn (ranked 2351 p4p, 272 weight class) and Antonio Santana (ranked 2719 p4p, 308 weight class). Santana has chosen Check My Swag as his entrance music. McVaughn has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Gregory McVaughn is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 2, fighting out of New York, Gregory McVaughn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Antonio Santana! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santana stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Santana with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Santana connects with a solid leg kick. Santana lands a glancing blow to the side of McVaughn's head. Santana tries a head kick but it misses.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Santana. McVaughn is breathing heavily. McVaughn moves out of range of the body kick. Santana cracks a nice hook into McVaughn's ribs. Santana thuds his shin into the meat of McVaughn's side. Santana scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Santana scores with a head kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Santana connects with a solid leg kick. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Santana catches McVaughn with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! McVaughn doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Santana connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Santana fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Gregory McVaughn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Santana's corner calls for a 1-2. Santana obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Santana lands with a kick to the ribs.

Santana fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McVaughn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Santana looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Santana, right into the meat.
A thudding body kick lands there by Santana!
That's one minute gone in the round. Santana thows a body kick. McVaughn tries to catch it but that hurt him. Santana connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Santana throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McVaughn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Santana lands with a good body shot. McVaughn takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Santana throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Santana fails to land with a series of punches.
Santana moves into range and connects with a jab. Santana fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt McVaughn. Santana lands a high kick!
Santana fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Santana has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Santana thumps McVaughn with a low kick. Santana fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Santana works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McVaughn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Santana - the referee stops the clock and McVaughn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Santana. McVaughn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Santana connects with a nice looking jab.
Santana fakes the leg kick and cracks McVaughn in the body. Santana lands with a kick to the temple. McVaughn shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" McVaughn takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Santana lands a leg kick that knocks McVaughn off balance momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santana tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Santana scores with a shot to the body.
Santana scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
McVaughn is rocked! Santana circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! McVaughn drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Santana follows McVaughn to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antonio Santana! A relieved looking Antonio Santana thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
