Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lachlan Myers (ranked 22325 p4p, 435 weight class) and Jack Wagner (ranked 24121 p4p, 453 weight class). Myers comes into the arena with The Soldier's Song blaring out of the sound system. Wagner has chosen Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer as his entrance music. Lachlan Myers had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 148.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Lachlan Myers looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Wagner drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Myers defends it well.
Myers looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Wagner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Myers avoids it really well and circles away.
Myers misses with a head kick.
Wagner throws a big counter head kick but Myers avoids it with no problem.

The referee calls for Wagner to work.
Myers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Myers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wagner shoots in for a takedown but Myers shows good takedown defense.
Wagner goes for a double leg but Myers avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Myers continues to drive forward.
