Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Reed (ranked 3348 p4p, 367 weight class) and Sebastian Edwards (ranked 4359 p4p, 455 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Edwards's choice of entrance music: Wishing Wells. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastian Edwards! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed lands a glancing blow to the side of Edwards's head. Reed throws a hook but Edwards avoids it easily. Reed throws out a powerful jab. Reed throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Edwards lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Reed connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Edwards misses with the body kick and Reed cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Edwards misses with a looping right. Edwards misses with an uppercut. Reed saw that one coming. Edwards throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Reed has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Edwards. A bone on bone clash there as Edwards blocks the leg kick.
Edwards has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Reed scores with a sloppy right hand. Edwards should have avoided that one. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reed waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Edwards. Reed throws a big shot that misses. Edwards is looking for the big counter here. A telegraphed right hand from Edwards misses the target. Edwards connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Edwards bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Edwards avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Reed. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Edwards, right into the meat.

Sebastian Edwards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Edwards jabbing away but nothing is landing. Edwards misses with a double jab
and Reed counters with a stiff right hand. Reed moves away from the strike by Edwards. Edwards connects with a crisp jab. Edwards throws a jab when Reed was well out of range. Reed throws a solid leg kick but Edwards takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Reed. A countering left hand to the body from Edwards misses. Reed moves out of range of the body kick from Edwards.
Reed misses with an uppercut. Edwards throws out a counter right but Reed avoids it with no problem. Edwards cracks Reed with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A low kick from Edwards misses and Reed counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Edwards misses with an attempted mid kick.
Reed connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reed is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Reed takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Edwards takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Reed on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Edwards keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Edwards scores with a kick to the midsection. Reed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Reed really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Edwards misses with a few strikes there.
Edwards just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromReed. Reed pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Reed takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Edwards moves into range and connects with a jab. Edwards misses with a combination
and Reed counters with a slapping leg kick. Edwards rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reed moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Reed throwing a counter right hand but Edwards manages to avoid it. Reed throws a jab but it's blocked by Edwards. As Reed backs off Edwards throws a huge counter combo but Reed manages to avoid it all.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Edwards throws a low kick but Reed moves out of range easily. Reed feinted there with a counter leg kick. A solid leg kick lands there for Edwards.
Edwards throws a looping overhand right but Reed ducks down to avoid it. Edwards throws a right and a left that Reed avoids nicely. Edwards connects with a right hand. Reed shakes it off. Edwards misses with a kick to the body.
An inside leg kick from Edwards misses. Edwards pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Edwards misses with a kick to the body.
Reed buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Reed tests Edwards's chin there with a solid looking shot. Reed ducks under a wild hook from Edwards. Reed misses with a wild body shot. A countering left hand to the body from Edwards misses. Edwards misses the jab. Edwards scores with a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Edwards's corner calls for a 1-2. Edwards obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Edwards defending well as Reed loads up on a big left hand. Edwards has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Edwards there as he acknowledges the shot. Reed throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A thudding body kick lands there by Edwards!
Edwards throws a series of punches but Reed moves out of range. A shot to the liver by Edwards. Beautiful body shot. Reed steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Edwards. Reed lands a nice looking body kick. Reed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Edwards circles away quickly and effectively. Edwards throws a head kick that misses and Reed counters with a lovely straight right hand! Edwards scores with a nice head shot. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Edwards jabbing away but nothing is landing. Reed connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Edwards momentarily.
Edwards misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Reed takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Reed is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sebastian Edwards dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Edwards looks for the body kick but Reed saw that one coming. Reed lands with a nice combination. Edwards backs away looking to recover. Reed throws a jab but it's blocked by Edwards. Edwards throws a body shot but no joy. Sebastian Edwards seems to be getting the better of the standup. Reed on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Oh Reed is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Edwards drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Reed's head, knocking him out cold! Edwards is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sebastian Edwards! A very excited looking Sebastian Edwards made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
