Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Cartagena (ranked 4181 p4p, 437 weight class) and Lazuran Riku (ranked 3912 p4p, 415 weight class). Cartagena's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Crack Attack. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riku connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Riku has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Cartagena throws a looping overhand right but Riku ducks down to avoid it.
Cartagena fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Riku on the side of the head.
Riku scoring well with a low kick there.
Riku looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Cartagena misses with an uppercut.
A low kick from Riku misses
and Cartagena counters with a stiff right hand.
Riku uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cartagena.
Riku steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cartagena.
Riku keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cartagena on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Riku lands with an overhand left.
Riku is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Good leg kick by Riku there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Lazuran Riku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riku scores with a sloppy right hand. Cartagena should have avoided that one.
Cartagena is rocked!
Cartagena throws a poor cross that misses
and Riku counters with a crisp right that sends Cartagena to the canvas! Riku follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lazuran Riku!
In his post fight interview, Lazuran Riku started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
