Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Warror (ranked 246 p4p, 34 weight class) and Street Fighter (ranked 135 p4p, 23 weight class). Fighter is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by You Know How I Do It. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Warror!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Street Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter takes a swing at Warror's ribcage but misses.

Warror throws a low kick but Fighter avoids it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fighter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fighter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Warror is fending him off so far but Fighter persists. Nope, Warror circles away and we're back to standing.

Warror feints a jab promting Fighter to slip. Warror then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Fighter slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Warror ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Paul Warror has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Street Fighter.

The crowd cheers as Warror lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fighter doesn't seem phased though.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fighter crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Warror - the referee stops the clock and Fighter gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Warror. Fighter manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Warror is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fighter.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fighter.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
