Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ragnaar Viking (ranked 3538 p4p, 387 weight class) and Paolo Turin (ranked 3547 p4p, 382 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 3 losses; Paolo Turin! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Turin gets caught napping as Viking dives in and scores a takedown. Turin manages to retain guard. Turin works his way to full guard. Good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turin keeping full guard, as Viking tries to pass. Turin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Viking defends it easily. Viking is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Viking has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Turin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Viking is stalling in the full guard. Viking seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Turin for as long as he can get away with. Viking has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Viking trying to control the position from guard on top but Turin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Viking seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Viking stays in close to Turin's body and controls the position. Viking wants to control from the top but Turin keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turin is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Viking rolls with it to try and escape but Turin cranks on the arm and Viking is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
