Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diarmuid Curry (ranked 12 p4p, 1 weight class) and Brandon Vee (ranked 34 p4p, 1 weight class). Curry's entrance music is Epic Celtic Music. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Vee's choice of entrance music: Da Mystery of Chessboxin by Wu-Tang Clan. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Curry.
Curry on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Curry throws a head kick but Vee moves out of range.
Vee is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Curry with a body shot.
Curry swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Vee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A slapping leg kick lands for Curry.
Curry throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Vee.
It looks like Brandon Vee has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Curry slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Curry lands a big head kick that sends Vee tumbling to the mat! Curry takes a step backwards and waves Vee back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Diarmuid Curry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vee misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Curry counters with a big right hand! Oh Vee is in trouble here! Curry follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
